For this project I attached googly eyes to a soap dispenser and made it look like a sad/suprised face. Next, I put goggly eyes on a basketball painting and it looked like a smiley face. This project is about making an object look like a face.
For this kaleidoscope project I used a photo that I took of a flower and put it into Photoshop. Next I duplicated the layer of the photo the get multiple photos and I just made each one smaller and smaller to get the kaleidoscope effect.
I took this photo of a Starbucks passion fruit iced tea lemonade and I put the photo into photoshop and made duplicates of the photo and rotated it to make the photo look like it is a reflection and butterfly effect.
For the picture on the left I used the Instagram effect Hudson. I liked this effect for this photo because it made the photo pop more and all the colors in the photo show a lot and the water looks very blue and green and I think it looks pretty. For the photo on the right I used the Brannan effect. I chose that effect for that photo because it made this photo look kind of old and I thought that was cool. I liked how I got the tree stick down the middle of the photo to separate the two sides of the photo.
Mario Testino is a Peruvian photographer who loves taking pictures of models and famous actors and actresses. His photographs are featured in Vogue and Vanity Fair. His photographs have been on the cover of huge magazines and he is a very well known fashion photographer. His pictures are very modern and colorful. My pictures of my friend John Frasca are meant to look similar to some of Mario's photographs that expose emotion and fashion.
This project I had to find 13 specific object, tools and other things that look like letters in the alphabet which was a little hard, but I got it done. Then the other 13 letters of the alphabet I could use actual letter from books, keyboards, etc. This project fun and different.
For my gradient portrait I used a picture of myself that I took on my IPhone. Then I put the photo into photoshop and edited it to a brown and blackish color so I could paint it that way. Then I traced my photo onto a bigger piece of paper and figured out 5 different colors that I needed. Then I painted it and this is how it came out.
For this name game project I had to find certain objects that look like certain letters to spell out my name. This project might sound easy, but it was more difficult then I thought. But I found letters to spell Makennzie.
